How I Got the Holy Ghost, Part 2

Sound of Faith - 7/12/2019 12:00:00 AM

To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1102/29 It was in an old-fashion tent revival, slain in the Spirit, lying in the sawdust, when I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. I was seven years old. No one can tell me that speaking in tongues is not for today! Since then, the Holy Spirit has been my teacher, as hearing His voice has become an integral part of my daily walk. God is always transmitting His Word to us, but we are not always receiving. Learning to hear His voice by staying in the spiritual coverage zone is imperative.

The Parable of the Tares, Part 3

Sound of Faith - 7/4/2019 12:00:00 AM

To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1102/29 In this story, both the wheat and the tares are not the Word, but people. Christians produce wheat, and children of the devil produce tares, which are poisonous. In the early stages, they look exactly alike; in fact, tares were called false wheat. But when fully grown, wheat is brown, but tares are black. It is hard to separate them, because the roots are entwined, and pulling up the tares can pull up young wheat. When its seeds are eaten by birds and beasts, it causes intoxification, vertigo, convulsions, and even death. Satan sows tares in the church among the saints where they are asleep, spiritually unaware, and never more than in this day of false teachers and prophets.

The Parable of the Seed, Part 3

Sound of Faith - 7/1/2019 12:00:00 AM

To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1102/29 The Parable of the Seed holds a little known truth that is a game-changer for Gospel evangelism. In the seminal Parable of the Sower, Jesus clearly stated the seed is the Word of God, and the four grounds that received the seed determined whether it would bear good fruit based on the condition of men's hearts. But in this subsequent Parable of the Tares, He said the seed is something else--the children of the kingdom! WE are the seed! Those who have been born-again of the incorruptible seed of the Word of God become the seed. If you plant corn, you will harvest corn; if you breed horses, you'll produce horses; humans produce humans, and Christians produce Christians! And when they don't, they are spiritually sterile.
